How I started a home business as an authority site publisher
Starting your own business. It's a dream for so many people. Who wouldn’t like to be financially independent - in control of their own destiny?
If you’re in work now you may be very attracted by the idea of quitting the corporate rat race. Or maybe you stay at home at the moment because of family commitments and you’ve got to that stage where you have a little more free time.
There are lots and lots of women out there who are turning an occasional hobby – surfing the net, buying online, bidding in auctions – into a profitable web business.
You may be thinking "well that's OK for her, but I don’t know anything about putting a website together – let alone getting people to come and visit it".
The interesting thing is – neither did I until Spring of 2006 when I joined Authority Site Center. If you think you know nothing about online business, let me tell you I only discovered Ebay late the year before! Seriously - I was clueless.
It was buying and selling on Ebay that made me realize how the web was one big market and how ordinary people could be very successful creating online businesses. The difficult bit was trying to work out how to go about it.
There’s no shortage of information around that’s for sure. Sometimes it seemed that just about everyone out there was trying to sell the next big money-making idea. Like a lot of people - I spent a lot of money and found out too late that many promises were simply lies.
I did learn one key thing – something I already knew but had chosen to forget. If you are going to be successful at anything you have to be committed and put in the effort. Don't believe anyone who tells you the web is a quick and easy way to make money.
But…work hard enough and with the right focus and direction – you will be successful. .
Apart from the fantastic site creation tools, it was focus and direction that the Authority Site Center offered to me as a total newbie starting off. Thanks to the support and advice I got from the talented people who run it and the colleagues I met in the forum, I was able to build this authority site.
Now I have a great internet business in a market I love – anti-aging. It's wonderful to write an article and watch it make the front page in Google simply because of the power of the ASC system.
I'm still learning - and I will be as long as the web keeps changing which is just about every day as far as I can see. But the great thing is I'm now an Authority Site Center Coach working with other members to help them create successful business using this amazing system - just like I did.
I can truly say that becoming a member of the Authority Site Center last year was the best decision I have ever taken.

Yes..there is still any chance to us to make money online but not realy so easy.

You're right Irene - making money online isn't easy but neither is setting up and running any business - nor for that matter doing anything worthwhile…the rewards though in terms of flexibility and satisfaction are great!
